This page explains what Tech Shinobi collects, why it is used, and how lightweight analytics are handled.
When you send an enquiry or project brief, the submitted details are used to respond to you, understand your project, prepare a quote, and provide agreed services.
This may include your name, email address, business name, website, project goals, budget range, timeline, and any information you choose to include in the form.
The website uses lightweight first-party analytics to understand incoming traffic, popular pages, devices, broad location trends, and referrers.
IP addresses are stored for a limited period so repeat visits, city-level location trends, and visitor journeys can be shown in the protected CMS.
Location data is estimated from free IP geolocation lookups where available. If that lookup is unavailable, the country shown in the CMS may be estimated from hosting headers or browser timezone and should be treated as directional rather than exact.
The public website does not need account cookies. The analytics script may use browser session storage to identify a visit during the current browser session.
The protected CMS uses a secure session cookie only for admin login.
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, provide services, maintain records, and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Analytics logs, IP addresses, repeat-visitor records, and geolocation cache data are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Personal information is not sold. Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the website, hosting, email, payments, or project delivery.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing enquiry@techshinobi.co.uk.
